Here at Creatice Xicana, we (I) are not only about going clubbing or partying or all you can drink Champagne brunch-ing. No No No, sometimes I venture out on my own to do things that are a little out of the ordinary for a fab femme queer socialite :) This caught my eye and I'm hoping to take myself out on a date to go see this AND it will be an excuse to get OUT to the Getty Villa since I have not been there since their remodel/restoration:

The CalArts' Center for New Performance (CNP) presents Piedra de Sol (Sunstone), adapted and directed by MarĂa Morett. Based Aztec-influenced surrealist love poem of the same name by the late Nobel laureate Octavio Paz, this multimedia performance weaves passages in Spanish, English and Nahuatl. Complements the exhibition The Aztec Pantheon and the Art of Empire, on view March 24–July 5, 2010, at the Getty Villa.
Note: This program was previously titled Proyecto Azteca.
