O pão nosso de cada dia (Our daily bread)

If you know me, you know that I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Getty.  It's not only aesthetically amazing, but it's also so calming AND feels like a little oasis within Los Angeles.

With that said, The Getty will be holding a 3 day symposium about Latin American Art in the 21st Century in conjumction with the Museum of Latin American Art in Long Beach.  Artist, curators, academics and art lovers from the US, Latin America and Europ will gather to talk about the roles of not only museums but artists and collectors in preserving the history and relevance of Latin American art.

The best part? The symposium is FREE!! All you have to do is make a reservation.  Check out the info below and get OUT!

Angie enjoying the desserts!
Avion Tequila they were making the most delish spicy margaritas!

My dates for the night: Karla, Angie, & Jess

These amazing modern dancers from Cal Arts, under the direction of  Rosanna Gamson were wearing creations by Marlies Dekker (who has outfitted celebreties such as Dita von Teese, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, & Courtney Love) for the Strapping Lasses fashion show at Jenette Bras in Echo Park. The bras were works of art and of course bringing the element of dance and beautiful bodies just made this night even better.  We sipped on wine, & specialty tequila cocktails by Tequila Avion.  We had a blast people watching and admiring the dancers. It was a little too packed to get a fitting, so I'll have to go back to Jenette Bras.  I think it's amazing that there's a shop dedicated for people with D cups & higher!
