If you know me, you know that I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Getty. It's not only aesthetically amazing, but it's also so calming AND feels like a little oasis within Los Angeles.
With that said, The Getty will be holding a 3 day symposium about Latin American Art in the 21st Century in conjumction with the Museum of Latin American Art in Long Beach. Artist, curators, academics and art lovers from the US, Latin America and Europ will gather to talk about the roles of not only museums but artists and collectors in preserving the history and relevance of Latin American art.
